也門(mén)水泥產(chǎn)量將增加三倍
也門(mén)工商部總理說(shuō)2007年水泥產(chǎn)量將從2003年的154.1 萬(wàn)噸增加到550萬(wàn)噸，這個(gè)產(chǎn)量將能滿足國(guó)內(nèi)日益增長(zhǎng)的水泥需求。 據(jù)中國(guó)水泥網(wǎng)了解，也門(mén)2007年的需求量可能達(dá)到400萬(wàn)噸。
也門(mén)國(guó)有的三家水泥公司目前無(wú)法滿足國(guó)內(nèi)的需求，但該總理說(shuō)也門(mén)已經(jīng)建立了兩家具有220萬(wàn)噸產(chǎn)能的水泥廠。從事水泥制造銷售的也門(mén)公營(yíng)公司最近也和英國(guó)、羅馬尼亞等地的公司簽定了一系列的協(xié)議，準(zhǔn)備在Bajil水泥廠擴(kuò)大產(chǎn)能。 據(jù)中國(guó)水泥網(wǎng)了解，該廠目前的產(chǎn)能是30萬(wàn)噸。私有企業(yè)也想建立自己的水泥生產(chǎn)基地。

Yemen to boost cement production by 300 percent
Yemen intends to increase cement production by a massive 300 percent in the next three years, a move that will at last allow it to keep pace with internal demand.
Yemen Trade and Industry Minister Khaled Rajeh Sheikh said that projected cement production will total of 5.5 million tons in 2007 up from 1.541 million tons in 2003.
Sheikh said that the increase would enable Yemen to cover the local market needs of cement which are forecast to exceed 4 million tons in 2007.
The country's three government-owned cement works do not currently produce sufficient quantities to meet domestic demand, but Sheikh added that two cement factories will be established with a capacity of 2.2 million tons.
Yemen's Public Corporation For Manufacturing and Marketing Cement recently signed a number of agreements with British and Romanian companies to expand production facilities at the country's Bajil cement factory which currently has a production capacity of around 300,000 tons.
Private sector companies have for some time been seeking to set up their own cement works, particularly in Hadhramaut and Abyan, where there is an abundance of gypsum, to fill the supply gap.
In the wake of Yemen's recent moves to liberalize and diversify its economy, Yemeni and Saudi businessmen have recently signed agreements for establishing two cement factories in Hadhramot and Abyan provinces.
